2021 Refugee Fundraiser

As part of our civic engagement class, we were tasked to create a GoFundMe for a cause. With Tiania Jefferson and Huda Shah, we created a GoFundMe for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to help refugees. The money funded goes directly to their organization, and was never in the hands of our team.

Our team name was Value-For-Life! with our motto: "Don’t turn your back on anyone." 

Tasks that we did in this class was to pick and organization, do research on the organization, and then create, launch, and promote the campaign.
